Wooden Wisdom is what happens when Elijah Wood and Zach Cowie play records together.
Music supervisor Zach Cowie and actor/producer Elijah Wood met a decade ago at a party thrown by Rodarte designers, Kate and Laura Mulleavy. Cowie was the D.J., Wood was a guest, and the two bonded over music — or as Cowie put it, “over a similar sense of adventure in our music consumption.”
Soon after meeting, they formed the DJ duo Wooden Wisdom and have been sharing their love of danceable ’70s/'80s psychedelic funk, international, disco, synth, house, boogie, etc around the world thru their all-vinyl dj sets.
